1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using USLankaPage ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

USLankaPage is an online directory and community platform that connects Sri Lankan businesses, events, and community resources across the United States. The Service allows users to browse listings, submit businesses and events, claim business ownership, save favorites, and RSVP to events.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Business Listings

  • All submitted business listings are subject to review and approval by our admin team.
  • You must have the right to represent any business you submit or claim.
  • Listing information must be accurate and not misleading.
  • We reserve the right to remove, edit, or suspend any listing at our discretion.
  • Fraudulent claims of business ownership may result in account suspension.

5. Events

  • All submitted events are subject to review and approval before publishing.
  • Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event details including dates, location, and pricing.
  • USLankaPage is not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or ticket purchases made through third-party links.
  • We reserve the right to remove events that violate these terms or community guidelines.

6. Claim Requests

  • Users may request to claim ownership of a business listing by providing verification information.
  • Claim requests are reviewed manually by our admin team.
  • Users are limited to 3 pending claim requests at a time.
  • False or misleading claim requests may result in account suspension.
  • Approved claims grant the user the ability to edit the business listing.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use the Service for spam, advertising, or solicitation outside of legitimate listings
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect data from the Service without permission
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit (text, images, etc.). By submitting content to USLankaPage, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, event, or user-submitted content. We are not responsible for the quality of products or services offered by listed businesses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, USLankaPage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
